DB2 Everyplace features a small footprint relational database and high performance data synchronisation solution that enables enterprise applications and data to be securely extended to mobile devices such as personal digital assistants (PDAs), smart phones and other embedded mobile devices.
With DB2 Everyplace, the mobile work force in industries such as health care, telecommunications, retail, distribution, transportation and hospitality can easily access the information they need to perform their work - from any location, at any time.

A zero administration, small footprint, and standards compliant relational database available on all major mobile devices spanning from hand-helds to smartphones and beyond.
The DB2 Everyplace database runs on the mobile device and is included with the Database Edition. The Database runs on a variety of mobile and embedded platforms including PalmOS, Microsoft Windows CE/Pocket PC, Symbian, embedded Linux, QNX Neutrino, Microsoft Win32 and Linux. - DB2 Everyplace Sync Server
A bi-directional synchronisation server that synchronises relational data between the mobile device and enterprise data sources. Included with Enterprise Edition. The supported platforms are Windows, AIX, Linux and Solaris. - WebSphere Studio Device Developer
A comprehensive Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) application development environment that can be used to extend existing on demand applications to PDAs, cellular telephone and pervasive devices. - WebSphere® Everyplace™ Access
