Pirean ITIM Reconciler Tool
Pirean's ITIM Reconciler tool has been developed to manage ITIM reconciliation in a large scale ITIM environment, with many defined ITIM services. The Reconciler tool allows “on the fly” parallel reconciliations of ITIM services with many flexible configuration options and significantly reduces overall reconciliation times.
Using the standard ITIM functionality administrators are constrained by having to schedule each individual reconciliation separately, without knowing exactly how long each reconciliation will take.
Pirean's Reconciler tool allows each reconciliation to start as soon as the previous one has finished. Consequently the overall time for reconciling all services is dramatically decreased. The Reconciler tool constantly queries ITIM APIs for completed reconciliations and starts the next service reconciliation if the number of reconciliations running has dropped below the maximum configured number of parallel reconciliations allowed on the system.
Various statistics and auditing features have been provided with this tool to help bring more transparency into the overall reconciliation processes. This generates individual service reconciliation statistics and overall summaries for auditing and review purposes.
The Reconciler tool includes configuration flexibility, tracking ability and control of ITIM reconciliations from one single point, thus saving on administrative effort.
